Four Americans Died and President Obama Lied
The article headline says it all, and yet many Americans and a compliant media are completely silent and not willing to address the elephant in the room. No one died in the break in at the Watergate in June of 1972 and yet it took five additional years to complete an investigation and bring some semblance of closure to the issue.
The Watergate investigation resulted in 69 government officials (mostly lawyers) being charged and 48 were found guilty. Currently “Benghazigate,” has a growing number of players, now headed by former CIA Director David Petraeus. Other players for your scorecard include, Paula Broadwell, Jill Kelley, General John Allen, and a mystery shirtless agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
What has occurred is that the original nature and questions of, “What did they know and when did they know it,” are now lost in the noise and sensationalism of an affair by the former Director of the CIA. Completely forgotten, thrown aside or under the proverbial bus are, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice, and a host of other Obama Administration officials.
With the acknowledgement of the Petraeus affair, both broadcast and print media outlets have become fixated and focused on the affair, infidelity and sexual segments of the story. They have at this point completely forgotten and ignored the original question, “What did they know and when did they know it?”
The Obama administration was notified by email of the attack on the Benghazi Consulate, within minutes of when it began. Shortly thereafter U.S. Ambassador Stevens was murdered along with State Department official Sean Smith. Then President Obama jetted off to a Vegas fundraiser as two former Navy SEAL’s, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were about to get killed by mortar fire. Their deaths happened a little over seven hours after the raid began, according to the released CIA timeline.
The main stream partisan press completely and willfully ignored how the Obama Administration initially attributed Benghazi to some YouTube video nobody watched. That was their story and they were sticking to it until two weeks later when the Obama Administration acknowledged that it was a well orchestrated terrorist attack.
There are still unanswered questions. We have yet to get any answers from President Obama as to what he knew and details of his participation and role in the events of that evening. We are also questioning how the head of the CIA was under FBI investigation for nearly six months, and the president knew nothing about it. There are these and many more overall questions regarding this incident, and the American people deserve answers.
